That's... Weird. Try calling the 24/7 VinFast support line, if you have not done so already. Phrase it like "new vehicle, struggling to get the android/iphone app to work" rather than "dealer refusing to release", see if they can help.

Worst-case, get your dealer to at least add you as a "secondary driver" even if they feel they have to remain "owner" (they are probably misunderstanding the roles)

I will probably be asking, seeking help on any issues I don't understand so please be patient with me. I will try to search the forum for answers before I post any questions.

Sure! That's what this forum is for! Just bear in mind we're mostly happy owners / fans, but not VF employees as far as I know.
