I believe they planned on Delivering in Vietnam first as that is where the Plant is. So lets say they start delivering a few hundred VF8s they are probably next month looking to start building the US Market of VF8s because I think the shipping will take about a month to get to the ports if it is California ports. So I still think the first set of US VF8s will be delivered at end of November or Middle of December to end of December right before the New Year just so they can say they met the quota of 4Q deliveries.

we will know they are close when they allow us to officially configure our orders. And that hopefully is very soon.

As per their rep, only once the service centers are available within the given state, would they make a sale to that customer within that state. That would imply most of us, with the exception of California would only be able to get one sometime next year, at the earliest.

In general I think that makes sense - but I wonder how their roadmap does look like to open a service center in each state...

I believe their CEO said, at this delivery event, Vinfast is starting mass production this week and the next 5,000 VF8s are destined for US/North America. She said Dec 2022 is the ETA.
