VinFast to offer test drives at New York Auto Show 2022

working out details, as of now Yes. it's the closest to where we live and and a big investment and we just don't know when or where else we would have this opportunity to see it in person and be in the V8 for a test drive. although we plan to get the VF9 . I doubt the VF9 will be any different the what we have seen at the LA auto show and won't be able to open the doors and sit in the seats. I hope to get all the up close information and facts I can .

Yes, I got the email too. Bought the tickets.

I thought we could sit in the VF9 but just not drive it? Maybe I didn't read the email properly. Of course, will know More next week.

Yeah, looks like it. When they responded to my email 2 weeks back, it was the below:

1. For the VF8 the miles are (estimated, are subject to change) 285.8 and 316.9.
2. For the VF9 the miles are (estimated, are subject to change) 301.4 and 422.

I'm okay to wait even until 2024, if VF9 really makes sense, and is actually is the way it is advertised to be. Worse case, yeah, I will request my deposit. So, not an issue for me so far.

Response from VinFast:

The VF9 model will be on display at the auto show but as far as physically getting in the car you will have to ask one of our representatives at our VinFast booth.
You are welcome to test ride (you will be in the passenger seat with a professional driver driving) in the VF8.
All you will need to do is go to the VinFast booth and sign up and then the test track is located on the 1st floor.
You will also be able to take photos of the exterior and interior.
