Hey @tanmay.kansara welcome to the forum! In the video description it says #vinfast #sponsored #vf8 #jointhecharge so I think VinFast has paid her to make this video.
Yeah, it's good to see the VF8 up close like this but it's good to take what she says about certain things with a grain of salt.Hey
Sounds about right ..
I did read from various reviewers that regen is not anywhere near ready, and may not even be ready till after delivery. I am surprised Vinfast still brought the car to US and let her do a video, so close to the recent sponsored visit to their factory where they invited a whole bunch of journos.it's good to see the VF8 up close like this but it's good to take what she says about certain things with a grain o
HI Art, I am from North, Ottawa. I believe you are right the first VF8/VF9s will be built in Vietnam. The ones build in US will come(if everything goes as per plan) after 2024.Hi. I'm Art Masson, and put in my reservation on 4/1/22 for a VF8. Incidentally, I live in Pittsboro, NC, USA -- which is in Chatham County where Vinfast has recently announced their US manufacturing location. I'm assuming that VinFast's plan is to start delivering cars in the US in advance of the new US plant being operational in 2024 -- Assuming this since my NFT expires at the end of 2023 -- in advance of the new plant being operational. I am also the owner of a 2021 Tesla Model 3 (Long Range Dual Motor). The VF8 will likely replace my 2014 Acura MDX. So Question...is it possible to see the current reservation list and where my order stands??
It's wait and see time, I guess on how the ordering process and ability to deliver outside of California works in 2022/2023. When I reserved the VF8, it's interesting that I didn't have any opportunity to specify the desired model (Eco vs. Plus), color, or anything else. I'm assuming these choices will have to be made once VinFast is able to confirm delivery and service in North Carolina. Hopefully with the new plant nearly in my home town, service won't be a problem after 2024 !!! By the way...loved your video...nice job.HI Art, I am from North, Ottawa. We placed a reservation for VF9, mostly plus and Battery#2. I would love to see the reservation list, however I dont think we will see it. I think somewhere it was mentienod that that there are 60k reservations for Vf8+9.
Literally beat you to reserving the car by 1 day.
Lets see how things pan out with timelines.

Any mention of east coast showrooms?I had paid the reservation fee back in Jan to take advantage of the voucher along with other benefits and had inquired about when can I select version and color, etc. Vinfast Customer Service Advisor had replied a week ago saying that I will be able to select color, version, etc. this summer. They said that the showrooms in CA with test drive models should be opened by then as well.
