Okay, is it just me or is the official VinFast forum hard to navigate and controlled too much by vinfast? i can never figure out where to find new threads or new posts. I was noticing vinfast replies to questions and post their own stuff but it’s communistic in nature. It feels like you can’t say anything bad. They posted their own videos of reviewers at CES and they curated the reviews that didn’t dog the vehicle.

maybe just me. Let me know your thoughts.

The organization of that site isnt the best but I don't know if I noticed communistic tendencies.

It is their official forums so they have to fill it with
at least some promotional content.
If you want to test that theory post the negative videos that have been posted here related to CES and Vinfast. If they get deleted then you know your answer. I would do it myself but it's only for American reservation holders. Since they haven't even started that process in Canada yet I can only read and comment here lol. So that should also say something.

I wouldn't say communistic at the moment, and I agree with you @ZPower regarding needing some promotional content but their marketing strategy sucks. Like, they partnered with an Instagram gamer to post a 'vinfast partner's video...who asked for that? TARGET THE CAR REVIEWERS OR THOSE WHO CREATE CONTENT IN THE INDUSTRY YOU ARE IN. I suspect that given the price of the vehicles most of the people who will be purchasing are going to be out of that target marketing demographic. There are reviews out there that are rating your vehicles poorly. We don't care about the marketing or "paid" videos. We want answers. Know your customer.

Address the questions people have posted or are asking online. Host an AMA within the community. Schedule a live stream and make them monthly with updates like they did in the Canadian market (they cancelled the November one with no explanation and then didn't reschedule it). Offer to do an interview with out of spec on his show and address the concerns he had. That could really turn things around...oh, and from what I heard in the video yesterday: make sure anyone and everyone who is representing your company in a professional capacity (either vinfast employees or promotional 3rd party reps) knows what they are talking about: pricing, specs, etc. Simple things that could start to turn things around that would also not cost them a dime.

Like really, it's slowly turning me off from the brand.

I echo what you all said. Yesterday, I tried to post a negative review from inside evs (that I’ve posted here) and it hasn’t been posted on the Vinfast forum yet. I believe they are trying to tone down the negative reviews and comments.

If they're reviewing replies before they're posted on the page then that's a problem Imo (but I also get it). Reservation holders should be properly informed with both negatives and positives prior to handing over money for their product. However the argument can be made that the onus is on the consumer to find that information.

All of that said I feel it should be allowed to be posted and they can respond to it. Ah well, this forum>official Vinfast forum.

I do not want to get political on this forum but if the Vinfast Community site is controlled by Vinfast itself from their headquarters in Vietnam well it is a Communist Country so that might be way they swinging the community their way and not allowing the negative posts over flow the community forum they created.

Yes they have to review the posts to allow it to be posted it usually take up to 48hrs for a post to get put on the community forum over their as right now they are off.

Pretty sure @SHale has been posting negative reviews there for a while now
Let me know your thoughts.
it certainly isn't the greatest forum interface. Finding new posts/replies is a super pain the mouse. And the bad word filter works really poorly as well. So don't put 'assume' or 'assist' as it tracks as ASS and will be blanked with no warning. yikes.

um, not just negative posts there for sure. But, yes, they post all my notes except for one for 'bad formatting' whatever that meant. The delay in new posts IS rather annoying; they have to approve new posts before they post, but replies to post go up realtime. 🤷‍♀️

I have been posting there since day one (hey, where is my gift vinfast?). All posted but one. And not all of the happy, cheer leading posts. :ROFLMAO: It's a great forum for those who kinda believe vinfast leadership is reading the posts there.....maybe. Just posts from moderators so far; no HQ staff. oh well.

the interface truly is bad, tho.
