I am assuming they will unload this week. Update all vehicles with the new software update that is coming out on 9th or 10th. Then start sending emails for people to convert to actual order. So I say end of May beginning June US deliveries of the extended range VF8. So the 293 mile ones.

Some other vessel tracking sites:

Interesting that some of them show the giant V VINFAST logo down the side, and some don't. May be from before a VINFAST re-branding of the vessel? 🤔

Does anyone know if the vessel will head up the coast for the Canada deliveries, or will they "ship" them by road/rail from SF?
I think they are only unloading what is coming to the USA and the boat will then head up to Canada to unload the remaining vehicles for Canadian Deliveries.
Will keep half an eye on the above tracking sites. Looks like it's still anchored in the SF Bay, probably awaiting a docking slot. Do we have any Bay Area VF fans who might be able to get a picture of it "in situ" for the other fans? I have some workmates in the Bay Area who just MIGHT be able to grab a photo if they happen to be passing, but they are quite a lot further south and I'm not going to ask them to make a special trip. 😐
I saw couple of videos that showed the inside of these behemoths from their first delivery back in Nov 2022 when it left VN and the inside looks like a big ole Costco warehouse. These huge tanker/cargo ships are amazing.

I saw the youtube video. It says the cargo ship of the Vinfast vehicles is waiting for the cargo ship of Mazda to be unloaded first
And I'm just waiting for that software update that was suppose to happen this week lol

Yup, on 9th, when the video was made, it was indeed still waiting in the bay, anchored off Oakland ("orland" in YT badly autotranslated subtitles), presumably waiting for the "Shipment of Mazdas from Tokyo" mentioned in the video.

Late on 10th (yesterday), I showed the track of it coming inland to dock (Benicia port, "USBEN" on some of the tracking sites, badly autotranslated to "Israeli Seaport" on YT subtitles). Last seen 6 min ago still docked at Benicia, presumably still unloading.
Presumably finished unloading the US shipment. Departed this evening, about to pass under the Golden Gate bridge on its way back out of Benicia / San Francisco, enroute to Nanaimo Canada! 😁
Heading up the coast, about to cross between Cali / Oregon, ETA Monday at Nanaimo BC Canada. This seems like a bit of an odd choice, it's on Vancouver Island, where you would then normally want to take a ferry to the mainland... But they ARE a car ferry! Maybe there's some interesting reason why it makes sense to clear customs in Nanaimo, then head for the mainland after? I guess we shall see! ¯\(ツ)

I was searching why Nanaimo. It looks like Vancouver is out of room at its port and has a hard time accommodating so many large ships. So some ships elect to pay a cheaper unload in Nanaimo and move them other ways (smaller ferries that can go to other smaller ports). This can save time and money. I don’t know how true this is but business is weird sometimes.
... which would presumably mean Canada can probably expect a larger number of smaller deliveries in dribs and drabs over the next few months. Meh.
Well, she's ashore in Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island! I guess Canada technically has some VF8s now!

Now heading back to Haiphong, Vietnam... So presumably all done in US + Canada, and heading back for batch 3 😁
