Good find. I can see my reservation too, though there aren't much details there besides the date. Hope they start reaching out to people soon.
so far just the model selected. I bumped my inside sales guy for an update and essentially received back 'no update'. Then I bounced one of the sales dealer at the Hillsdale location on test drives; same deal no info yet.though there aren't much details there besides the date
I suggest you contact Vinfast US Support at [email protected] and ask them to clarify what's happened or fix the problem...if you really want to keep both accounts long term you should make that clear to them. This probably resulted from their recent database maintenance. Good Luck. They unusually respond to emails within 48 hours. Both of our reservations are visible. But for whatever reason both reservations are displayed in the same account (we created two accounts and made a reservation for each of them). Only thing I can image right now that there is maybe a mixup because of the same physical delivery address?![]()
Thank you ZPowerYeah the website isn't the best. Try making a reservation and it will ask you for a login. You can then cancel and click on the "Hi <name>" link on the top to see your reservations.
Also, I don't see my older reservation any more. I have no idea what is going on with their servers.
Reserve your VinFast EV now.Is there a login selection somewhere on the main website? I can't find where to login.
just checked mine; it is still displaying in all it's lack of info besides model.......Also, I don't see my older reservation any more. I have no idea what is going on with their servers.
I wonder if that number will be the same for the V8 PLUS model..... I tend to only keep vehicles for 7 years, so this is perfect. I prefer the lower price. That $15K amortized over 8 year period equates to about $156 per month
I think the battery price will stay the same no matter the trim on VF8 models. I saw this was like yeah Leasing it is I do not have extra $15k to throw at the vehicle. I prefer to lease anyways as I will not have to worry about Fast charging all the time now cause If I destroy the batteries oh well I am covered.I wonder if that number will be the same for the V8 PLUS model..... amen. AND if the performance numbers hold on as they are shown on the web site. The youtubers who went to Vietnam were unable to duplicate on pre-production units. The one thing I am still waiting on is the true EPA numbers and actual charging time and speed
I’ve read statistics that EPA provides lower range numbers than WLTPWLTP is the EU standard which is not as strict as the EPA standards.
that kinda sucks as I was going for the larger battery, but I guess longer wait is better in my case. Still, want a test drive in a production unit sooner vs later.......Saying 'fall' (which matches what San Mateo dealership said) is a bit too vague for me.Interesting thing is that the slightly lower capacity battery versions will be delivered end of 2022 (Nov or Dec) and the larger battery versions are coming in early 2023
