Well… I’m still here but for me there isn’t really anything to comment right now. I’m a bit disappointed by this weird “city edition” and I’m now waiting for some tangible reviews/tests from people in the US/Canada.

2nd that. I've moved mostly to the vinfast supported forum and occasionally reddit where the trolls hang. I too am not quite happy with the CE trim. would be pretty ok if they kept the battery subscription; I might have jumped.
Really hoping the next batch to land is NOT the CE trim; if it is, I might be out. Looking hard at the IONIQ5 and Chevy Blazer EV. However, both options would cost more than the VF8 I've reserved..perks and all....oh well.

I check 1-2 times daily for anything new. But if there is nothing new then nothing is needed to be said. Haha

I think a bunch of reservation holders have moved to the Vinfast sponsored forum.

i also got the app, just to see. Not a lot there. Odd, it did link my chat session w Vinfast. 😳

I’m to the point pretty sure Vinfast will be paying me the 7500. Prefer it actually. Would get the cash much sooner.

Logging chat sessions is nice as their is no he said she said their is a log of when it happened.

The first batch has already arrived around Dec. 17th if I remember correctly. However, those are only City Edition versions with only 179 miles and can only be sold in California at the moment. We are all waiting on when the normal variants to arrive and who knows when that will happen we think in March. As it is about 40 day boat ride round trip so if the vessel left already it should be about another week before it reaches port in Vietnam. Then give them about a month or so to have more vehicles ready to ship then maybe next shipment will arrive in March.

as noted by @s7davis they arrived just prior to xmas. All 999 were a trim previously unknown to us the City Trim.
the big question is when the next batch will be shipped and what trim will it be. If all City Edition again, that is kinda it for me. Sad.

I do not think they have delivered any VF8 C.E. yet I am sure they will start this month they been sending emails and bulletins like crazy trying to get people to bite on that ridiculous price and lease agreement. But however, if you lease the vehicle you will get the $7500 tax credit on top of the $3k rebate they giving you but the terms are horrible.

i agree with that !!! but still these cars must be driven and see their are reliable !
