Tesla must be really hurting to raise the rebate to full tax credit of $7500 and 10k miles free supercharging or 2years of free supercharging which ever comes first. This is getting me very tempted in buying a Tesla now. lol

Take delivery of a new Model 3 or Model Y between December 21 and 31, 2022 for a $7,500 credit and 10,000 miles of free Supercharging.

idk. the price of Teslas are just sky high in the 'ouchie' department. I wanted a Y until dear Musk kept raising the price every few weeks. Priced me right out. <sigh>

Tesla?? That is so 2015 plus low build quality of Tesla really sucks and the insurance cost and repair costs are through the roof too since they dont sell parts and you have to use their network of repair people. And no dealership for repair and 1 - 2 month wait time for warranty appointment.

Todays market has these cars from major manufacturers, its NOT 2014 anymore!!

Vinfast VF8
Volve C40 Recharge (Have you seen this in person?)
2023 Toyota bZ4X
Hyundai Ioniq 5 and upcoming 6
Audi e-Tron
VW ID.4
Mach-E

All those are way way better build quality and after sale service than Tesla. That is all above and beyond what Elon would do with your money when you buy a Tesla, he is going to spend it all to fight and destroy democracy in the USA, changing twitter algo to be completely bias to the way he wants. Dont fund that man's agenda.

the key phrase is 'delivery by...'. Fat chance getting a Y before YE if ordered today. Website says Dec -- March est delivery. :ROFLMAO:

The cost is the same regardless, but difference is this

if you get it delivered in 2022 you get $7500 off from Tesla
if you get it delivered in 2023 you get $7500 back from feds when you file your taxes in April 2024 (plus you have to have paid those taxes, plus you have to have low income to qualify)
I just checked: still way too expensive for my tastes. And Musk is a bit toxic these days or embarrassing; take your pick.

I just placed an order for Model 3 trying to see if I can get delivery this month as I do not make enough for Fed Credit. So I will just cancel if not as I need rebate off price of car.

You really think a Model 3 is worth $53K??

I got the standard RWD so only $39K and I live in California so will see what happens. If I am able to get delivery this month great if not then I will cancel and take the $250 loss as I do not have enough liability for tax credit for $7500.
