Same with us!
Same with us!I am hoping for the best with Vinfast, even though there is a long way to go. But it’s kinda nice to be the first ones here if this all takes off.
Thats great - most of Rivian owners are really happy with their vehicle. We have reservations and a buyer agreement for the VF9(+) but also a reservation for the R1S. Overall I would go with the R1S because of its off-road capabilities (we are avid hikers and some trails are only accessible via dirt roads) - but two reasons make the VF9(+) more likely (a) the price difference (b) we don’t like it that the R1S has a tailgate. In our opinion that is a stupid idea for a SUV because it makes it much harder - especially for smaller people - to grab stuff from the trunk (the decent big frunk of the R1 maybe would make up for this). Some people argue that you can sit on the tailgate - well we used all the years the edge of the trunk for that and it worked flawlessly…I have a Rivian R1T,

And I love the idea of the tailgate on the R1S. To have things not fall out when you lift the hatch is great. Unfortunately after buying the R1T we can’t afford the R1S especially because we got the truck pre-price increase. But I think this could be great for the family car. Pushing my wife to see that.
